My Philosophy on Work/Life Integration
I believe growth happens through all aspects of our lives.
I have learnt as much about empathy and leadership by becoming a mother, as I have as an organisational leader. At the same time the strategy skills I learnt at work have helped me make important life choices.
COVID cracked the artificial walls between our personal and professional lives so we can be fully human. Importantly, this is as much about business performance as it is about being a decent human being.
The workplace needs stronger EQ skills: empathy, connection and real conversations if they are to harness the speed of change and break down siloes.
